Our client is a growing, award-winning storytelling agency based in the South Yorkshire area. We are on the hunt for a talented, midweight animator motions designer to join their creative team. They work mainly remotely with one day in the office. Their clientele spans the Educational, Government, and Public sectors.

About the Role

We are on the hunt for a talented Animator/Motion Designer looking for a new challenge. We have a fantastic opportunity at a full-service storytelling agency based in South Yorkshire. This is a permanent role with the flexibility of mainly remote work and one day in the office per week.

As a Midweight Animator/Motion Designer, you will be involved in diverse animation projects, from creating storyboards to developing animation assets using your illustration skills. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality character and object animations in both 2D and 3D formats. Additionally, you will actively participate in client meetings, effectively conveying and pitching animation concepts and ideas.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in animation, with a robust portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 2D and/or 3D animation, as well as illustration. Experience in creating explainer/storytelling animations, particularly for research and the public sector, is highly advantageous.

Proficiency in industry-standard animation software, particularly Adobe After Effects, is essential. A solid grasp of animation principles, timing, and storytelling techniques is required, along with expertise in character animation, lip-sync, and facial expressions.

If you possess creative problems-solving skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering top-notch work, this role is perfect for you. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Drive (Sheets, Documents) is a must-have for this position.
