Motion Designer – Freelance (Hybrid / Long-Term Contract)
Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week) must be local + drive
Contract Length: Start ASAP until March 2026
We’re hiring a Motion Designer to join a global automotive brand’s in-house creative team on a long-term freelance contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-quality brand motion across digital platforms and in-vehicle experiences translating static visuals into engaging animation, interaction and motion graphics that elevate the overall design language.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with designers to convert static content into dynamic brand motion
- Creating transitions, animations, and micro-interactions for UI / Human Interaction platforms
- Supporting real-time rendering and production workflows
- Ensuring brand consistency across multiple digital touchpoints
- Working with stakeholders across disciplines and time zones
Essential Skills (Must Be Shown on CV):
- Proven experience in agency or in-house creative environments
- Strong 2D and 3D motion design ability
- Expert in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate
- Experience in Cinema4D, Blender, or Houdini
- Understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, interaction)
- Familiarity with rendering processes (Unreal Engine is a plus)
- Able to collaborate with global stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- A freelance Motion Designer looking for long-term contract stability
- Transitioning into freelance after a perm role or redundancy
- Looking for a secure project through the winter and into spring 2026
