This position is looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the AV & MDU market, specifically bespoke residential custom installations. Your role will involve working with design briefs from M&E contractors, technical design consultancies and large residential developers, interpreting them into full design documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-standard AV solutions using AutoCAD.
- Produce technical drawings, project costings and supporting documentation.
- Interpret and translate design briefs into comprehensive design documents.
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working in AV MDU and bespoke residential custom install market.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency for producing workable designs.
- Expertise in AV and home networking technologies – Crestron, Lutron, home audio/cinema, full smart-home automation, bespoke custom installation, IT networking (Cisco, Draytek, Ruckus).
- Experience with speaker and projection deployment.
- Ability to create accurate project costings and technical documentation.
- Must be living in the UK, legally authorized to work, and possess a clearly defined skill set as demonstrated in the CV.
