REPORTING TO: London EP / Commercial Director
You'll work directly with the EPs and the Commercial Director to support OkayStudio's marketing, social, and new business activity. This is primarily a marketing, branding and new business role. You’ll be helping us stay visible, build the right relationships, and keep our social and marketing presence sharp and consistent. Design is part of the mix, but what matters most is your energy, your instincts, and your ability to get things done.
SOCIAL & PR
- Write and coordinate social content across Instagram and LinkedIn – grid posts, stories, and reactive moments – in keeping with OkayStudio’s tone of voice
- Manage and present the content calendar to the EP – keeping activity organised, on-schedule, and aligned to broader priorities
- Monitor and respond to social DMs, maintaining a consistent and considered tone across every interaction
- Support awards submissions, press moments, and trade coverage (LBB, Shots, David Reviews and similar)
- Report on social metrics and engagement ahead of monthly PR catch-ups
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & INDUSTRY
- Support the EPs’ new business outreach – researching target agencies and brands, building contact lists, and keeping follow-ups organised and on track
- Help maintain our CRM and outreach tracking so nothing falls through the cracks
- Build your own understanding of the industry landscape – who’s making what, who’s working with whom, and where OkayStudio should be in the conversation
- Attend industry events – awards, screenings, festivals, talks – and represent OkayStudio out in the world
- Collaboration with and work trips to our Berlin studio
- Support initiatives including OkayLabs and Final Frame, helping us tell those stories to the right audiences
DESIGN & CONTENT
- You don’t need to be a designer by training, but you’ll need a good eye and the confidence to put together clean, on‑brand content – whether that’s a social graphic, a sales deck, or a showreel cut‑down.
- Design social graphics and promotional assets using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
- Pull together sales decks and presentation materials with EP oversight, ensuring they reflect the quality of our work
- Coordinate showreels in response to new business requests, working with the team to get them turned around quickly
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- In the first six months, you’ll know our work inside out, have a clear picture of who we should be talking to, and be actively helping us get there.
- Our social presence will be consistent and on‑brand.
- Our outreach will be organised and properly followed through.
- And you’ll be starting to make the role your own.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- We’re open‑minded about your background – you might be a junior creative or someone a couple of years into a role in production, post‑production, a creative agency, or a similar environment.
- What matters is that you have a genuine feel for the industry, a strong design eye, and the kind of self‑starter energy that doesn’t wait for a brief to arrive before getting on with things.
- Naturally sociable and relationship‑minded – you enjoy meeting people, following up, and building real connections over time
- A strong design sensibility – you can produce clean, considered work in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (or equivalent), and you have an instinct for what looks good
- A clear, confident writer – you can adapt your tone to the platform and the audience
- Resourceful, independent and self‑directed – you spot the gap and fill it
- A genuine love of craft and the creative industry – you care about what good work looks like and can talk about it with conviction
- Organised, reliable and strong sense of ownership – you can manage multiple priorities without things falling through the cracks
- Curious about AI tools and how they can improve creative and commercial workflows
TOOLS & SKILLS
- We’d expect comfort with the following, or a clear willingness to get there fast:
- Google Workspace – Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive
- Slack and Asana (or similar project management tools)
- Instagram and LinkedIn – including scheduling, analytics, and community management
- Design tools – Canva / Adobe InDesign & Photoshop / Figma
- An open, curious approach to AI tools – for copy, content, research, or workflow
WHY OKAYSTUDIO
We work on projects that reach global audiences, with artists at the top of their craft. You’ll have direct access to the people running the studio, learn how a world‑class post‑production business operates, and have real room to grow as we scale. This is a genuine entry point for someone who wants to build a career in the creative industry.
