This is a full-time, on-site role based at Hiut Denim Co. in Cardigan, Wales, starting immediately. This is not a standard social media role. We are looking for someone with a strong artistic eye, a high level of technical ability, and the confidence to create content that feels considered, elevated, and true to Hiut. The right person will be able to move between photography, video, graphic design, and post-production, creating work that supports the brand across social media, email, website, campaigns, and wider marketing channels. Essential Skills

  • Photography: Capture high-quality still imagery for social media, email, website, campaigns, product storytelling, and brand content. Photograph the factory, makers, products, details, landscapes, behind-the-scenes moments, and customer-facing stories. Demonstrate strong composition, lighting, colour, texture, and storytelling through photography. Create imagery that feels natural, refined, and brand appropriate rather than overly commercial or generic.
  • Video: Film short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, email, and campaign use. Capture the rhythm of the factory, the making process, interviews, product stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand narratives. Understand pacing, sequencing, framing, movement, sound, and atmosphere. Create video content that goes beyond trends and feels distinctive to Hiut.
  • Post-Production: Edit and retouch photography to a high standard. Edit video content, including colour grading, sound, pacing, titles, subtitles, and exports for different platforms. Maintain a consistent visual tone across stills and moving image. Organise, archive, and deliver final assets in a clear and professional way.

The Content Creator will work directly with the CEO and the Head of Marketing & Creative. They will be expected to collaborate closely on:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong portfolio of photography, video, design, and editing work.
  • High level of technical proficiency in camera use, lighting, composition, and editing.
  • Experience creating content for brands, campaigns, editorial, or social platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
  • Confident in photo editing and video editing workflows.
  • Good understanding of social media formats, but not limited by social media trends.
  • Strong visual taste and understanding of brand storytelling.
  • Ability to work quickly when needed, while maintaining quality.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple creative tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a live environment such as a factory, shoot, event, or campaign setting.
  • Passionate about developing their craft and contributing creatively to the future of the brand.
