This opportunity is open to all artists, working individually or collaboratively, in any medium (please note that the phone box has no electricity, so any digital/electronic works must include their own power source). - Community Engagement:Though not essential, artworks developedinvolvingsome form of community engagementare welcomed,for instance through workshopswith targeted groups, oralhistory collection, community walks,pop-up sessions or similar.OurDamerhamproject manager canassistwith linking artists to local groups.
- Viewer Interaction:Wewelcomesubmissions for works that invite some form of viewer interactionand encourage longer viewing, for instance a crank handle to create power, levers to move elements,responsive digital creations,listening postsor similar.
- Sustainable and seasonal:We welcomeartists that have consideredsustainability and/orartworksthat involve a seasonal element.
- Commissioned by:This project is delivered as a partnership between Culture in Common, Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places project for the New Forest, and Damerham Parish Council.
