We are expanding our commercial team and seeking a driven junior Advertising Sales Executive to help grow our local print portfolio. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the craft of media sales, with a strong interest in music, events and culture, and an ambition to grow relationships with brands and advertisers across the UK and beyond.
All applicants will understand our role in the modern media landscape and will be ready to build meaningful client relationships, helping brands engage authentically with our audience.
Role
- Identify new advertisers and partners, reaching out via phone and email
- Build and manage a sales pipeline across our core territories
- Grow our local portfolio by developing new opportunities in other major UK cities
- Work to pre-agreed targets for revenue, leads, conversion and retention
- Attend IRL meetings with potential and existing clients
- Manage accounts and ensure smooth client relationships
- Oversee invoicing and ensure timely payments from clients
- Represent the brand at industry meetings and events
- Participate in weekly commercial meetings to discuss leads and opportunities
- Uphold agreed advertising terms and ensure successful campaign delivery
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask across projects and clients
- Experience in sales or advertising
- Proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and closing deals
- Knowledge of Crack Magazine’s output, audience and cultural space
- Awareness of media, marketing and social trends
- Able to keep to strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Team player who can identify and escalate opportunities to senior staff where appropriate
