Responsible to Head Baker
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bakehouse. This role is ideal for someone with baking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality products and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Producing breads, traybakes, cakes, scones, desserts etc
- Preparing and mixing doughs, batters, and pastries
- Following recipes and production methods accurately
- Baking products and using ovens
- Maintaining consistency and quality of all products
- Supporting general bakery operations and cleanliness
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Essential:
- Previous experience in a bakery or similar food production environment
- Good knowledge of baking processes and techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Formal baking or culinary qualification
- Experience using commercial bakery equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP)
- Passion for baking and the Creative Gardens Food Co brand
