Full-time & Part-time roles available Responsible to Bakehouse Production Manager £13.68 p/h This role mainly requires the decorating, finishing and packaging & labelling of bakery products ready for crating up and dispatching to our stores. May also involve some preparation of baking ingredients and supporting bakers with the production of various bakery items. Responsibilities and Duties: Icing cakes, decorating traybakes, chocolate finishing Cutting, portioning and packing bakery items Ensure correct labelling of products (ingredients, allergens, dates) Quality checking finished items Preparing products ready for dispatch, order picking for each location Supporting bakers during production Weighing ingredients, preparing mixes, fillings, icing, toppings Stock rotation and basic stock handling Dishwashing and clean down duties Possible van driving delivering to our stores (driving licence required) Essential Experience in a food production or kitchen environment Good attention to detail, especially with labelling and allergens Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active role Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and processes accurately Reliable, punctual, and fulfil required working hours Good teamwork and communication skills Desirable Previous bakery or food manufacturing experience Basic food hygiene knowledge (e.g. Level 2 Food Safety) Experience with packing, labelling, or dispatch processes Interest in baking or food production Full, clean UK driving licence, age 25+ for insurance purposes.
