The General Garden Centre Assistant (Seasonal) will primarily work for the Garden Centre Manager. General duties include providing assistance and support to both customers and colleagues, helping on tills and ensuring great service is delivered and the centre\βs high standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Providing customer service to customers in the centre such as assisting them to their cars with heavy/ large items such as compost, pots etc.
- Replenish stock as directed by line manager e.g. compost, pots, plants, birdcare, garden care
- Replenish customer trolleys & baskets from the car park & return to areas throughout the shop floor.
- Serve customers on tills & process transactions (training will be provided)
- General tidying on site which include yard & sales floor as directed by line manager
- Perform any other duties as & when required by line manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience of working within a similar retail environment.
- Experience using a pallet truck.

Must be available to start immediately.Must be available to work the duration of contract (6wks).Must be available to work a Sunday.
