Colette Sadler (Stammer Productions) in association with Feral, Generator Projects, Dundee Rep, Scottish Dance Theatre and Dundee & Angus College have to offer 2 Associateship Bursaries for Dundee and Angus based artists within the first 5 years of their professional practice. The Associateship will offer a tailored package encompassing a research and development bursary, mentorship and an opportunity to present on their work at Present Futures Dundee 2025.
RISOGRAPH PRINTING – IN ASSOCIATION WITH GENERATOR PROJECTS
Open to emerging visual artists based in Dundee and Angus who are interested in utilising writing/image making physically realised through Risograph printing and the potential for a publication. Through the Associateship we hope to encourage a body of creative works/research that mobilises this practice and work that pushes the genre of Risograph and experimental publications forward. The brief aims to encourage the creation of new work rather than translating pre-existing works into a new format.
CHOREOGRAPHIC PRACTICE – IN ASSOCIATION WITH SCOTTISH DANCE THEATRE AND DUNDEE & ANGUS COLLEGE
Open to emergent dance artists and choreographers based in Dundee and Angus to develop a performance idea, intervention or choreographic sketch that resonates with the themes of this year’s Present Futures Festival.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply please send a ‘Note of Interest’ introducing yourself, what you would like to explore by undertaking a Present Futures Associateship and the benefits to your practice. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from undergraduate students, however we are open to applications from PhD, Post Graduate level and Master’s students. ‘Notes of Interest’ should be completed through Google Forms.
