About You:
Wrenn School are seeking a reliable, proactive and conscientious Site Supervisor to join our Facilities Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, secure and welcoming environments and enjoys a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our school sites, supporting security, health and safety compliance, maintenance and site presentation. You will be a visible presence around the school, demonstrating a professional approach and a commitment to providing an outstanding environment for students, staff and visitors.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a site, facilities, caretaking, estates or maintenance role.
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
- The ability to undertake a range of practical maintenance and minor repair tasks.
- Experience of opening, closing and securing buildings and grounds.
- Knowledge of compliance and site safety requirements, or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, contractors and visitors.
- Flexibility to work across both school sites and to support occasional weekend requirements.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Reliability, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
About the Facilities Team:
The Facilities Team plays a vital role in ensuring Wrenn School provides a safe, secure and high-quality learning environment for all members of the school community. Working across our two sites at London Road and Doddington Road, the team is responsible for site security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, cleaning operations and the overall presentation of the school.
As part of the team, you will work closely with colleagues across the school and the wider Creative Education Trust, helping to ensure that our buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard and support the educational experience of our students. The team takes pride in providing a responsive, professional and customer-focused service that enables teaching and learning to take place in an environment where everyone can thrive.
About Wrenn School:
Wrenn is a vibrant learning community across two campuses. Our Doddington Road site supports Key Stage 3 students (ages 11–14) with a nurturing transition from primary school, while London Road provides a mature environment for Key Stages 4 and 5 (ages 14–18).
