About You:
Three Peaks Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Inclusion Support Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH needs and other barriers to learning, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
- Have experience working with pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.
- Be passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring every child can succeed.
- Be confident in delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external professionals.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Support pupils' wellbeing, attendance, confidence and independence.
- Be committed to safeguarding, professional development and promoting positive outcomes for all pupils.
About the Support Staff Team:
At Three Peaks, our support staff play a vital role in helping every child succeed. Working closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and wider school staff, the team supports pupils to access learning, overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
As our Inclusion Support Practitioner, you will work as part of this dedicated team to support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs and additional learning needs through targeted interventions, classroom support and pastoral provision. You will help promote pupils' wellbeing, confidence, independence and engagement in learning while contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENDCo, families and external professionals to ensure that pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.
