Our Learning Support Team plays a vital role in ensuring that every child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive. We are a dedicated group who work closely with teaching staff to remove barriers to learning, deliver targeted interventions, and create inclusive classroom environments where all pupils feel valued and supported.
The Wroughton Academies are seeking a skilled and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support and enhance the learning experience across our school. You will take responsibility for agreed learning activities under a structured system of supervision, including planning, preparing, and delivering sessions to individuals, small groups, or whole classes. You'll bring experience, initiative, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils and staff.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- GCSE English and Maths, Grade 3 minimum or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in working as a teaching assistant or equivalent
- Experience in working with young people
- Full working knowledge of the National Curriculum across both key stages
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
