Being a Teaching Assistant Apprentice
At Queen Eleanor Primary Academy, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting teaching and learning within a friendly, dedicated and collaborative team. Working alongside experienced teachers and teaching assistants, you will help pupils to achieve their potential, contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment, and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to achieve your Teaching Assistant qualification and begin a rewarding career in education.
Your Training Plan:
- 16 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with your training provider and at least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
- Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)
About You:
Queen Eleanor Primary Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Our ideal candidate will have:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine interest in working within a primary school environment
- Patience, empathy, and a caring approach when working with children
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A reliable, punctual, and committed approach to work
- Confidence in using their initiative and taking responsibility for their own development
- A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4/A*-C, including English and Maths
