Role Description

This is a full time contract role for a Senior Shopify Developer with Creative Ecommerce. The role is remote and involves developing and customising Shopify themes, ensuring high website performance, and optimising user experience. Tasks include collaborating with designers, implementing new functionalities, debugging and resolving technical issues, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Shopify trends and best practices.

In addition, you will over see the team of developers we currently have. Your responsibility will be to review PR requests, provide ad hoc support where appropriate and query requirements whenever you see gaps between the Account Management team and development team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Expertise in Shopify development and theme customization
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
  • Experience with Shopify’s APIs and App integrations
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and site performance optimization
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers and the ability to independently solve technical challenges
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in responsive design practices
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a remote work environment
  • Ability to work within UK time zone (10am-6pm)

Salary

£50K / year base salary, with an opportunity for bonuses based on company performance.
