Creative CX is a specialist Experimentation Consultancy.

At Creative CX, we believe that continually improving the customer experience through research, innovation and experimentation is critical to staying relevant and competitive.

AI is making this discipline more important, not less, as it reshapes how customers interact with brands and how products are built.

We strive to make a real difference to our clients’ businesses and their customers’ lives through the work that we do.

We’re lucky to work with fantastic clients such as M&S, easy Jet, AJ Bell, Hastings Direct, Boots, Very and Screwfix.

Helping them to innovate and continuously improve through research and experimentation, and helping them to mature and scale their experimentation programmes.

We help our clients to optimise, personalise and innovate across the entire customer experience, to drive measurable growth.

And we help them establish and scale experimentation programmes so that every team can experiment everywhere.

Why this role, now

We have grown to where we are today primarily through reputation, referrals, and being present in our industry, with our sales team and specialists working together to turn those connections into client relationships.

Clients come back to us, and they bring us with them when they move into new roles.

That word-of-mouth engine is healthy, and we want to keep it that way.

We are now investing in a more deliberate marketing capability alongside that engine, as the primary route to broader demand, awareness and pipeline.

Positioning, campaigns and content have often been driven by opportunity rather than plan; the thought leadership sitting inside our directors and consultants has not consistently reached the market; and our website, events and partnerships have been used unevenly.

This is the role that changes that, bringing structure, consistency and reach to how we go to market, without losing what already works.

What is the job?

We are seeking a Marketing Lead to build a stronger and more consistent marketing capability for Creative CX.

This means improving market awareness, positioning and demand generation.

This is a senior but hands-on role: someone who can set the strategy and also make sure campaigns, content and events actually land.

If that combination appeals, then this could be the next role for you.

You will own the CCX marketing strategy and annual plan, translate the expertise of our directors and consultants into compelling market-facing content, and work closely with our BDM to design and execute campaigns that support the development of qualified opportunities.

You’ll partner with Abi, our Content Marketing Executive, who is already in place, leading the day-to-day content programme and organising events.

This role leans hard on AI and automation to increase velocity, reach and what a small team can deliver.

It suits someone comfortable setting the direction and shipping the work, establishing structure and momentum with a lean team.

This is a hybrid role based in our Central London office with flexibility to work from home for 3-4 days per week.

  • What you’ll lead
  • Develop and own the CCX marketing strategy and annual plan.
  • Clarify and strengthen how we describe who we are, who we serve and the difference we make: our positioning, messaging and points of difference.
  • Help determine which markets, audiences and propositions to prioritise.
  • Content & thought leadership
  • Set direction for content and thought leadership, and partner with Abi to run and evolve the programme day-to-day.
  • Translate the expertise of our directors and consultants into compelling market-facing content, and coordinate Linked In and thought-leadership activity across the team.
  • Develop an editorial and thought-leadership programme with reliable rhythm.
  • Create and manage case studies, credentials, propositions and sales materials the whole business can put to work.
  • Use AI to scale content production and repurpose it across channels, increasing volume and reach without diluting craft or losing our differentiation.
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns around priority services and markets.
  • Improve the effectiveness of the CCX website and inbound journeys.
  • Build account-based marketing activity around priority prospects.
  • Use automation to power lifecycle nurture, personalisation and rapid campaign iteration, reaching more of the right people, more often, without more headcount.
  • Events, partnerships & community
  • Own event marketing overall, sponsorship activation and follow-up planning, working closely with Abi on delivery.

In particular help to grow our regular Experimentation London meet-up.

  • Develop partner marketing opportunities with technology vendors and other relevant organisations.
  • Operations, measurement & the wider team
  • Lead the adoption of AI and automation across the function to increase velocity, reach and impact, with judgement about where they help and where they don’t.
  • Establish marketing reporting, attribution and performance measures the business can plan against.
  • Manage external freelancers, agencies and specialist suppliers where needed.
  • Work closely with our BDM to design and execute campaigns that support the development of qualified opportunities.
  • What success looks like in your first 6–12 months

We will know this role is working when

  • CCX’s positioning and messaging is clearer, more consistent and being used across the team.
  • There is a reliable programme of campaigns, content and thought leadership going out, drawing on the expertise of our directors and consultants and the work we do for clients.
  • Marketing is contributing to pipeline in visible ways: sourced and influenced opportunities, engaged priority accounts, inbound enquiries the sales team can act on.
  • Events, partnerships and client stories are being put to work more consistently, and generating meetings and opportunities we can point at.
  • The BDM has better reasons and opportunities to engage prospects, and marketing activity connects clearly to their pipeline.
  • You’ll be
  • Strategic and hands-on in equal measure: comfortable setting direction and shipping the work.
  • A builder’s mindset: happy to establish structure and momentum without needing a large internal team.
  • Commercially minded: you talk in terms of pipeline, deal influence and market presence, not vanity metrics.
  • Comfortable working alongside senior specialists to extract their expertise and turn it into compelling content.
  • Never satisfied with the status quo – always looking to improve and innovate. We’re an experimentation consultancy at heart, so trial and error is in our DNA.
  • Excellent in front of clients and senior stakeholders: confident bringing your own point of view, and at ease working closely with a small leadership team.
  • An advocate for storytelling, craft and brand consistency.
  • Able to connect with our values: respect, collaboration, passion for innovation – to name a few.
  • You’ll Have
  • Broad B2B marketing experience, ideally within consultancy, professional services, technology or digital services.
  • Strong positioning, proposition and messaging skills: you can shape how a business describes itself in a market.
  • Excellent content and editorial judgement: you can extract expertise from senior specialists and turn it into content that lands.
  • Experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns across events, partnerships, digital and demand generation.
  • Demonstrable experience using AI and automation to increase the velocity, reach and impact of marketing work: you’ve built these into how you operate and want to keep pushing.
  • A commercial mindset: you connect marketing activity to pipeline and to what the business needs commercially.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on, and establishing structure and momentum without a large internal team.
  • Nice To Have
  • An existing network in the customer experience, digital transformation, experimentation or wider professional services community.
  • Track record of building thought-leadership programmes with senior consultants or specialists.
  • Hands-on experience with modern marketing tooling (Hub Spot, Marketo, Pardot or equivalent) and marketing analytics.
  • Familiarity with ABM approaches and enterprise buying dynamics.
  • You’ll Get

We’re a 30-person consultancy that takes pride in the work we do, looks after each other, and shows up for the wider community.

We’re small enough that you’ll feel your impact quickly, and grown-up enough to give you a real seat at the table.

We trust people to manage their own time, and we make space for great work to happen.

Some of our benefits include

  • 25 days’ holiday each year.
  • An extra day for every year at Creative CX up to a maximum of 5 extra days.
  • An additional day off for your birthday after 3 years of service.
  • Regular social events and away days, arranged by our social committee.
  • Regular coaching, a continuously updated personal development plan and a generous training budget, to help you reach your full potential.
  • Company contributory pension scheme.
  • Fully supported remote working with the flexibility to work in our Central London Office.
  • Private Medical Cover.
  • Salary Sacrifice Schemes – Cycle to Work and Gym Scheme.
  • Charity Payroll – giving before tax.

Please note: we only consider applicants with a current legal right to work in the countries in which our positions are based and who do not require sponsorship.
