Our customers span major OEMs in automotive, medical, transport and construction. We use state‑of‑the‑art equipment: the largest compression moulding presses in the UK, robotic cells, 5‑axis CNC machines, conveyorised paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures.
Reporting to: Supervisor
Hours of Work:
- Dayshift – Monday–Thursday: 7:00 am‑3:00 pm; Friday: 5:30 am‑12:00 noon.
- Night Shift – Sunday Night 23:00–07:00 Monday, 23:00–07:00 Monday to Thursday, finish 05:30 Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise provided materials to prepare composite parts prior to painting.
- Strictly follow quality standards as outlined in manufacturing process specifications.
- Maintain a presentable and standardised workstation in line with housekeeping standards.
- Perform assembly operations to prepare products for packaging.
- Package finished goods.
- Complete related product records and product identification.
- Full compliance with all safety aspects of the company.
Duties:
- Liaise with supervisors regarding product quantities.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Liaise with quality engineers to ensure quality requirements are complied with.
- Report faults to maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Maintain good housekeeping, health and safety, and working standards in the work area.
- Transfer skills to others as required.
Qualifications:
Essential: Fluent and able to read/understand English; good understanding of maths; ability to understand and follow instructions; great hand‑eye coordination. Candidates will be subject to a medical assessment, a criminal records check and must have the ability to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.
Desirable: 1 year relevant experience in manufacturing, knowledge of fibreglass or vehicle body repairs.
