At Creative Composites, we design and manufacture world-leading composite components. Our customer base spans major OEMs in a range of sectors such as automotive, medical, transport and construction. Behind the scenes, our state-of-the-art equipment includes the largest compression moulding presses in the UK, robotic cells, 5-axis CNC machines, conveyorised paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures.
The Production Operator will be responsible for performing production processes to ensure the quality, delivery and cost requirements of the business are achieved. The role will involve producing composite parts for paint operations and assembly operations. The outline of the role will include:
- Utilising provided materials to prepare composite parts prior to painting.
- Strictly following Quality standards as outlined in Manufacturing Process Specifications.
- Maintaining a presentable and standardised workstation in line with company housekeeping standards.
- Assembly operations to prepare products for packaging.
- Packaging finished goods.
- Completion of related product records and product identification.
- Full compliance to all safety aspects of the company.

Duties:
- Liaise with Supervisors regarding the quantities of product required.
- Ensure that safe working practice is always followed.
- Liaise with quality engineers to ensure that quality requirements are fully complied with.
- Report faults to maintenance to minimise down time.
- Ensure that good housekeeping, health and safety and working standards are observed in and around the work area.
- You may be required to transfer your skills to others.
Desirable:
- 1 year relevant experience in manufacturing, knowledge of fibreglass or vehicle body repairs.
Essential:
- Fluent and able to read/understand English.
- Good understanding of Maths.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Great hand/eye coordination.
Candidates will be subject to a Medical Assessment, a Criminal Records Check and must have the ability to work in the UK for the duration of the contract. The Company retains the right to vary the above desirable and essential criteria to meet our business needs.
