LeadMaintenance Engineer At Creative Composites, we design and manufactureworld-leadingcomposite components. Our customer base spans major OEMs in a range of sectors such as automotive, medical,transportand construction.Behind the scenes, ourstate-of-the-artequipment includes the largest compression moulding presses in the UK,robotic cells,5-axis CNC machines, conveyorized paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures. AsaMaintenance Engineer, you will bepart of a team responsible forpreventative and reactivemaintenance,as well as playing a key role in exciting new projects. Duties: Act as the technical lead for electrical and controls fault-finding, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly to protect production output Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on significant breakdowns, driving corrective actions and preventing repeat failures Fault-find and repair single and 3-phase systems, inverters, drives, relays, PLCs,motorsand robots, working from electrical drawings Plan and deliver preventative maintenance across an automated plant, and contribute to improving PM schedules based on failure data Coach,mentorand upskill new and developing team members, including on-the-job training in fault-finding and safe working practices Help to deliver project work to improve machine availability and reduce downtime Maintain a safe, clean working environment and take on safety-related duties Liaise with external service engineers and contractors, and review the quality of their work Support mechanical,hydraulicand pneumatic repairs asrequired Essential requirements: Time-served or qualified electrical / electromechanical engineer with a strong electrical bias Proven industrial experience fault-finding Siemens PLC-controlled systems, and others Hands-on experience with ABB robotics and automation, including fault diagnosis and recovery Ability to work independently and solve problems without close supervision Experience training, mentoring others Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Strong communicationskills and a reliable attendance record Desirable: Experience in an advancedmanufacturingenvironment Experience with CNC machining centres including calibration ABB robot programming (RAPID) or ABB robotics training certification 18th Edition wiring regulations and/or inspection and testing qualifications Experience of fabrication Experience with TPM or planned maintenance systems What you get in return: Competitive salary on a permanent contract Day shift: Mon-Thu 0800-1630, Fri 0800-1230 Free on-site parking Cycle-to-work scheme Free Refreshments Pension scheme Above statutory annual leave Skills: Qualified electrical / electromechanical engineer Siemens PLC-controlled systems Experienced Hands-on experience with ABB robotics Expert in hydraulics and pneumatics TPBN1_NI
