About This Role

This high-visibility role as Relationship Manager – Music offers the chance to be a key connector within Wales’s diverse music scene. You’ll work with a specialist team to build strong relationships across genres and communities, ensuring Welsh music is celebrated and supported at every level. Your presence at events and collaboration with colleagues will help deliver strategic goals while embedding Welsh Language, Diversity, Inclusion, and Climate Justice in everything you do.

We are seeking a passionate advocate for Welsh music, skilled at building lasting relationships across a wide range of musical styles and communities. You work collaboratively, with a commitment to diversity, sustainability, and Welsh cultural priorities. Confident and visible, you engage authentically with artists and organisations to help grow Wales’s vibrant music ecosystem.

Welsh language

Everyone’s story with the language is different and we recognise that levels of ability and confidence vary from person to person. We are looking for an individual who understands the culture of the country; the varied relationship of the people of Wales with the Welsh language and who is committed to developing innovative use of the Welsh language both linguistically and culturally within the Arts Council and the wider sector. Learning Welsh language skills will be necessary when appointed. We will ensure you receive relevant support to increase or learn Welsh language skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
