The role
The Southbank Centre is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Marketing team on a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 October 2027. You'll lead the development and delivery of data-informed, audience-focused, strategic marketing campaigns for the rolling Gigs programme, the Public Programme of ticketed and free events, Multitudes Festival and the cross-artform Family programme. The campaigns drive income by maximising ticket sales, build and retain new audiences, and communicate the Southbank Centre's vision and artistic programme.
What you'll do
- Develop integrated, data-informed marketing strategies that drive ticket sales, attract new audiences, support retention and deliver on agreed objectives
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns across all media, keeping them aligned, co-ordinated and on time, with the necessary approvals and stakeholder input
- Work closely with, guide and support all Marketing Officers and Assistants across the Marketing team
- Use data, insight and digital analytics to monitor performance, evaluate outcomes and keep improving campaign effectiveness and audience impact
About you
- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful marketing campaigns in the arts and entertainment sector
- Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, including GA4 and CRM systems, particularly Tessitura, and able to turn insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Experience of working with media agencies and creative studios, including briefing, evaluation and performance management
- Demonstrable copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, tone of voice, storytelling and brand consistency
- Proven experience of managing budgets and delivering cost-effective, ROI-driven campaigns
