The Behaviours Agency is looking for a mid-weight or senior designer to join its Manchester studio at Media City. You'll work on brand identities, advertising and social campaigns for ambitious brands, taking work from briefing through to delivery, with motion design a key part of the role.
What you'll be doing
- Working independently and collaboratively from briefing through to delivery
- Championing bold ideas and responding to feedback constructively
- Showing original thinking in answering client briefs
- Producing client-ready digital assets, including short motion pieces
- Helping create high-quality presentation decks
- Managing your own workload and deadlines, and keeping files organised for the team
What we're looking for
- Agency background: experience building brand identities, advertising and social media campaigns in an agency setting
- Technical toolkit: proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and a willingness to learn new tools
- Motion design: essential experience with After Effects, demonstrated in your portfolio
- AI integration: comfort using AI tools to improve creative efficiency
- Communication: experience presenting work and rationale to internal teams and clients
- Adaptability: a record of working well in a fast-paced studio
- Behavioural curiosity: interest in or experience with behavioural science and how design influences habits
- Desirable: experience in art direction, shoot planning or AI-assisted design workflows
- Up-to-date awareness of culture, design, technology and advertising trends
- A genuine passion for brand design and a solid grasp of the creative process
- A curious mindset that challenges briefs to make the work bolder
- Willingness to take ownership and push your own creative limits
- Readiness to find something new to learn in every project
What's on offer
- Ownership: a share in the Employee-Owned Trust, with a real voice in decisions
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working: three days a week in the Manchester studio (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
- Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
