Position at Creative Assembly As a Senior Concept Artist, you will work directly with the Art Director and Lead Concept Artist, as well as other internal Art/Gameplay disciplines to develop and communicate the vision and universe of our game setting, collaborating with multiple disciplines and production to track work and support team goals aligned with the game\'s direction. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Create high quality concept art in line with art and creative direction Provide visual problem solving and creative solutions under the direction of Creative Leads Collaborate closely with design, environment and character art Contribute to visual development of new locations, environment elements and characters Communicate ideas across multiple disciplines with good visual, verbal, written and interpersonal skills Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential High quality and proven skillset in Visual Design and idea generating - from sketch, thumbnail, reference gathering to final well communicated concept art Strong relevant portfolio Comfortable with innovative exploration and brainstorming alongside multiple disciplines Particularly strong skillset within highly functional Environmental Design, setting and prop designing Experience working with the game/or film industry Strong skills in Photoshop or similar digital Software Ability to understand and communicate the visual Creative Direction while being able to consider the constraints laid out by the technical/gameplay requirements of the game Self-management, ability to plan and provide reliable time estimates that meet project goals and deadlines Great core understanding of the process of visual design alongside the current production pipelines in game development Desirable Knowledge of supporting 3D software Familiarity with Unreal Engine Note: Applications for this role must include a portfolio/showreel (or link to a portfolio/showreel).
