Join Creative Assembly and craft deep and detailed games that last, entertaining millions of players across the globe for decades.The RoleCreative Assembly is looking for an experienced Senior Animator to join our Total War team based at our studio in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex.In this role, you will help define the animation quality bar for our Total War products, mentor both internal and external animators, and collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to develop and refine animation systems, tools, and pipelines.A strong communicator and organiser, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, performant animations that elevate gameplay and support the creative vision across our projects.This role requires three days per week in the studio (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).What you’ll be doingOn a day-to-day basis, you will:Animation Vision: Work with internal and external stakeholders to define and set benchmarks for animation style and quality.Animation Expertise: Create high-quality keyframe and motion capture animations that enhance gameplay, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt across a diverse range of animation styles and subjects.
