Lead the creation, development, and delivery of content for an exciting new project. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, including Design, Art, and Technical teams, and an ability to consider the technical aspects of content integration to ensure all content aligns with the ongoing product strategy. The candidate will also work with third-party IP holders and steer and maintain the artistic vision of the in-game elements to enhance player engagement. A background in art, design, or related fields is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative development and production of post-launch content: ensuring visual quality, consistency and alignment with product strategy.
- Guide visual direction, reviewing creative assets with relevant art/design leads, and providing actionable feedback to internal or external partners.
- Collaborate with art, design and technical teams to ensure content is technically feasible, performant, and integrated smoothly into the game.
- Stay informed on player trends, feedback, and competitive offerings to enhance player value
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to balance new content releases with product goals, supporting ongoing player engagement.
- Assist production leadership in project planning, schedule tracking, backlog refinement, and support Art Leads with team structures, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Improve art production workflows, ensuring quality, efficiency, and clear documentation.
- Support communication with stakeholders, manage budgets, onboard contractors, work with external vendors, and address project risks and dependencies with team collaboration under senior staff guidance.
Essential:
- Experience in creative production, art direction, or visual content development.
- Experience working with internal development teams and external partners.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders, managing budgets, and mitigating risks.
- Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints, including optimisation for performance compatibility.
- Proven ability to drive the visual development of in-game elements and content.
- Experience aligning content with product goals and release planning.
- Understanding of content pipelines and delivery cadence in games.
Desirable:
- Experience with Co-Development and Outsource Management.
- Direct experience onboarding, briefing, and reviewing work from third-party art vendors or contractors.
