CAA Brand Management has helped brands of all shapes and sizes show up in new consumer product categories, experiences and territories, through licensing, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. CAA Brand Management is currently seeking a Product Development Executive to play an essential role in the Product Development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide product development and approvals support for the Product Development (PD) Team for specific brands across multiple categories (e.g. toys, F&B, apparel).
- Ensure all licensee submissions are processed within 48 hours via approval systems or email.
- Manage and prioritise the submissions within each approval platform system (Brand Comply & Media Box).
- Manage and train licensees on approval platform systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide brand support and help licensees bring products to market.
- Ensure licensees have access to relevant creative assets for product development.
- Support and lead creative kick offs/ new licensee onboarding meetings and other creative calls where applicable.
- Identify and address key challenges in the product approvals process to achieve results for licensors, clients, and licensees.
- Manage physical product samples, including storage and distribution to partners.
- Assist with regular updates of status reports, product trackers, and brand presentations.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with internal teams, licensors, clients, and licensees.
- Attend and support meetings, calls, and tradeshows with licensors, clients, and licensees.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with licensed products or brand management preferable.
- Knowledge of product development timelines and consumer product categories.
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of automotive and gaming brands (I.e. Minecraft & Porsche) preferable.
