House of Cavani, a leading menswear wholesale and retail business, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Design Apprentice to join their dynamic team.

• Hours per week: 37.5 (9-5 Monday to Friday)

Position Overview

This entry‑level role is perfect for aspiring designers passionate about visual communication. The Apprentice will work closely with the senior designer and team members to create compelling visuals that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing digital and print materials such as brochures, social media graphics, advertisements, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop creative concepts and execute designs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
• Prepare and optimise graphics for web and print use, ensuring high‑quality output.
• Support in maintaining and organising design files and resources.
• Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all designs.
• Receive and apply feedback to improve design quality and align with project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and colour theory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• A portfolio showcasing creative work (student projects, personal work, etc.) is highly desirable.

Entry Requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths grade C / 4 or above.

Training

Apprentice training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work‑based training, independent research, workplace projects, one‑to‑one support and training.
