ABOUT CHILDCARE BUSINESS GROWTH

Childcare Business Growth is a specialist digital marketing agency dedicated exclusively to helping childcare businesses — nurseries, day care providers, and childminders — grow their client base, increase occupancy, and build thriving settings. We combine data-driven marketing strategies with deep sector knowledge to deliver real, measurable results for our clients across the UK.

We are a fast-growing, ambitious team and we are looking for a driven Appointment Setter to join us and play a key role in our continued expansion.

THE ROLE

As our Appointment Setter, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Your primary mission is to generate high-quality, qualified appointments for our sales team by proactively reaching out to childcare business owners across the UK. This is a high-volume outbound role — you will be making 100 calls per day — so you will need to be resilient, motivated, and genuinely comfortable on the phone. In return, you will be generously rewarded with an uncapped commission structure that reflects your hard work and results.

WORKING PATTERN

  • Tuesday & Thursday: Based at our Birmingham office, 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Working from home, 10:00am – 6:30pm

You will need a suitable home working environment with a reliable internet connection for your home days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make 100 outbound calls per day to childcare business owners and decision-makers
  • Qualify prospects and identify their business growth needs
  • Book high-quality appointments and demonstrations for the sales team
  • Accurately record all activity and outcomes in the CRM system
  • Follow up on leads via phone and email to maximise conversion rates
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our services and value proposition
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and prospect pain points to support continuous improvement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a telephone-based sales, lead generation, or appointment setting role
  • Confident, clear, and persuasive communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Resilient and self-motivated — comfortable with a high call volume and able to handle objections positively
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with CRM systems and comfortable working with digital tools
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively on home days

Desirable:

  • Experience within a digital marketing agency or B2B sales environment
  • Familiarity with the childcare or early years sector
  • Previous experience working in a hybrid or remote role

WHAT WE OFFER

  • £28,000 base salary
  • Uncapped monthly commission — typically £2,000–£3,000/month, with no ceiling on earnings
  • Hybrid working — enjoy the energy of the office and the flexibility of home working
  • A friendly, supportive, and high-performance team culture
  • Full training on our services, processes, and the childcare sector
  • Clear progression opportunities as we continue to grow
  • Regular team socials and incentives
