Creation Technology is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Consultancy Team, focused on delivering large scale projects to leading customers in the Higher Education vertical, using Salesforce Education Cloud. Our head office is based in Chiswick (West London) where the role is primarily located; however, the ideal candidate should be able to travel from time to time to client sites around the UK, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as different locations around Europe.
As a Business Analyst within the team, the individual must be able to work with both business and technology stakeholders, applying an organised and proactive approach. Tasks range from business requirement gathering and documentation, writing user stories, testing, handover to IT support teams, and occasionally, ad-hoc query handling and support tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Owners and the business to develop and detail the product backlog in the form of epics and stories describing problems and expected outcomes, running refinement sessions with the development team.
- Collaborate with Creation Project Managers and other Business Analysts.
- Assist the Development Team by providing support to the Developers and Testers on the team.
- Act as a communication channel between product owners, business owners and the development team.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of system and acceptance testing.
- Undertake documentation to support the teamβs sprint activities.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with the business representatives, working across teams and multiple sites.
- Undertake show and tell sessions with clients, presentations etc both virtually and in person where required. Prepare professional decks and documentation to be used in relation to both client presentations and also client user training.
Experience Required:
- Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce (in particular Service Cloud and ideally Industry Clouds) with proven and demonstrable experience working on large scale digital transformation projects from a consultancy perspective.
- Previous consultancy background.
- Ability to apply an analytical approach to requirements discovery, documentation and collaborative solution delivery.
- Capture user stories and artifacts in JIRA or similar tools.
- Skilled in collecting and interpreting data, analysing results to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Ideally an ability to not just act as a Business Analyst, but also take on different project management related duties as and where required by the project in question.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience with the ability to effectively communicate at a level and depth appropriate to the audience.
- Demonstrable experience of gathering requests and technical specifications.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban, including participation in different Scrum ceremonies.
- A sense of personal responsibility and the drive to own problems, can work self-directed and independently to accomplish results.
- Provides assistance to developers and testers of the team. Pro-actively removing blockers to maximise team productivity.
- Creates an environment where individuals are encouraged and supported to achieve their goals.
- Promotes a positive team culture. Identifies and implements ways to improve teamwork. Builds effective relationships throughout the organisation.
