Delivery Lead

We design, implement and optimise Salesforce Education Cloud solutions that transform student recruitment, admissions, student success, advancement and institutional operations for universities around the world.

As our business continues to grow both in the UK & internationally, we are looking for an exceptional Delivery Lead to manage our delivery organisation and ensure every customer receives an outstanding implementation experience.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring that every project is delivered successfully, profitably and in line with the commitments made during the sales process.

Role Overview

The Delivery Lead is accountable for the successful delivery of Creation's global Salesforce Education Cloud implementation projects.

The role provides high level oversight across the entire project lifecycle, from supporting Sales with Scope of Works and project estimation, through project mobilisation and delivery, to successful customer adoption and project closure.

Working closely with Sales, Project Managers, Delivery Consultants and Senior Leadership, the Delivery Lead ensures that projects remain aligned with contractual scope, commercial expectations, timelines and quality standards.

Where projects diverge from the agreed Scope of Works, the Delivery Lead proactively identifies the impact, works with customers and project teams to define appropriate Change Requests, and manages the commercial and operational process through to approval.

Beyond project oversight, this role is responsible for continuously improving Creation's delivery capability by developing scalable delivery methodologies, strengthening governance, embedding AI-enabled delivery practices and ensuring Creation remains one of the leading Salesforce Education Cloud implementation partners globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership
• Lead the successful delivery of Salesforce Education Cloud projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
• Oversee portfolio performance, project governance, quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
• Support Project Managers to resolve risks, remove blockers, and recover challenged projects.
• Partner with Sales during pre-sales to validate scope, estimates, solution design, and delivery approach.
• Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery through effective project mobilisation, governance, and planning.
• Scope & Commercial Management
• Own scope governance and change control, proactively managing scope creep, change requests, and commercial agreements with customers.
• Delivery Excellence & Innovation
• Continuously improve delivery frameworks, governance, estimation, and implementation methodologies.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices to improve planning, reporting, documentation, governance, and productivity.
• Embed reusable IP, accelerators, templates, and best practices across all projects.
• PMO & Delivery Operations
• Lead the PMO functions including portfolio governance, reporting, risk management, quality assurance, resource utilisation, and delivery standards.
• Develop scalable operational processes for forecasting, capacity planning, margin analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the UK Practice Lead on workforce planning, skills development, and resource forecasting.
• Lead and develop the Project Managers and PMBA Suite effectively.
• Customer Focus
• Act as the delivery representative for executive governance, strategic customer engagement, escalations, delivery reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Experience leading complex Salesforce delivery organisations and enterprise implementation programmes.
• Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects and global delivery teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, and delivery methodology development.
• Salesforce Education Cloud and Higher Education experience.
• Agile delivery, AI-enabled delivery tools, Salesforce certifications, and consultancy scaling experience.
