We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for an 11-month maternity cover contract, starting mid-July. It’s a mostly remote role, with 1 day per month in the Bristol office - would need to be able to travel to Bristol and back in a day.
This is a senior product role covering two connected areas: product ownership for a front-end engineering team, and leadership of key cross-functional product initiatives across the business.
The role
- Owning the front-end product roadmap, shaping priorities with engineering and keeping delivery focused on the right outcomes.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives that need alignment across multiple teams, not just task management.
- Turning customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into sensible product decisions.
- Keeping stakeholders confident through clear communication, honest trade-offs and visible progress.
- Strengthening how product and engineering work together, without slowing the team down.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
You’ll be a strong Senior Product Manager who has worked in fast-moving product environments and can add value quickly. You’ll need:
- Experience owning complex product areas end-to-end in a B2C environment.
- Confidence working closely with front-end engineers and technical teams.
- A pragmatic approach to discovery and decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management, especially where priorities are shifting.
- The ability to bring clarity, pace and structure without overcomplicating things.
This would suit someone who enjoys operating close to delivery, but can also step back, see the wider business context and lead initiatives across teams.
