About the role and team:
Shape the future of Mobile at CreateFuture.
At CreateFuture, we believe the best mobile experiences are built with intention — inclusive by design, accessible by default, and shaped by genuine care for the end user. Our Mobile team lives and breathes that mindset, combining craft, collaboration, and deep technical knowledge to deliver thoughtful and impactful digital products.
As our Mobile Lead, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role within the Mobile capability — helping guide project delivery, mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and ensure that best practices are embedded at every stage. You’ll collaborate across teams and clients, set technical direction, and be a visible voice of excellence in our growing community.
You’ll also support hiring, team development, and resourcing, all while staying close to the code. Whether it’s leading architectural decisions, exploring the latest in Swift or Kotlin, or helping to scale delivery across multiple teams — you’ll bring confidence, clarity, and care to every challenge.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Lead technical direction across projects, contributing to architecture decisions, problem-solving, and hands-on delivery
- Mentor and support team members, providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities across the Mobile capability
- Represent CreateFuture to clients, shaping solutions, influencing delivery strategy, and building strong, trusted relationships
- Drive technical excellence, setting and maintaining high standards in mobile development (e.g. performance, testability, accessibility)
- Support hiring and team planning, identifying talent gaps, contributing to recruitment, and helping allocate resources effectively
- Champion community and culture, sharing your knowledge internally and externally, and contributing to a feedback-driven, inclusive environment
We’d love to talk to you if you:
- Strong technical background in native mobile development, with expertise in Swift and/or Kotlin
- Confident leading mobile architecture decisions and shaping best practices across teams and projects
- Experience mentoring others, with a supportive and inclusive leadership style
- Ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, translating technical ideas into strategic outcomes
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and contexts, with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Curious and proactive — always seeking out better ways to build, collaborate, and deliver value
What we’ll offer you:
We trust people to do their best work. That means flexibility over rigid rules, impact over activity, and real investment in your growth both professionally and personally. You’ll be part of a supportive, and friendly culture, surrounded by smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do.
We offer flexible working, including hybrid and remote options. Our office hubs are located in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London and Bulgaria, with occasional travel to client sites or CreateFuture offices when needed.
We trust you to manage your time balancing collaboration with client time and focused work. What matters is the impact you have, not how busy you look.

We try to keep our hiring process clear, fair and respectful of your time. We aim to get back to everyone who applies and we will be upfront about where you are in the process.
It usually looks like this:
