About the role and team

The People team's goal is to develop and retain outstanding people! As a People Partner, you act as a business-embedded advisor who helps leaders improve workforce effectiveness, capability readiness and team adaptation by combining people expertise, evidence, and change support. You solve day-to-day people and organisational challenges with people-related solutions. You use people data and business context to spot risks and patterns before they become problems, and you're confident in challenging managers on root causes. You run People initiatives whilst playing a pivotal role in wider company projects, connecting engagement, performance into one picture, and playing an active part in delivering our People strategy including supporting the roll-out of company-wide change and the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working.

What you'll be doing:

  • Advise leaders on workforce effectiveness, capability readiness and team adaptation, constructively challenging managers on performance, engagement and employee relations with evidence rather than instinct.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and teams across your assigned business area, empowering them to scale with the business while keeping autonomy and a great people experience at the centre.
  • Own local workforce insight and risk scanning, using people metrics, data and AI-enabled insight as baseline inputs to identify risk, trends and opportunities before they escalate.
  • Partner with People Operations to design, deliver and embed people strategy, OKRs and initiatives from local team needs through to company-wide change programmes.
  • Partner on workforce planning, organisational change and team design, ensuring the people implications of change are visible early, not after the fact.
  • Lead team-level capability planning, supporting decisions on role redesign, skill transition and team shape, and identifying where work patterns or role structures need to evolve as technology and business needs change.
  • Guide managers through the people implications of AI-enabled work, including adoption, fairness, trust and change readiness.
  • Bring a human-centred lens to change, balancing productivity, capability, engagement and employee impact.
  • Stay close to wider business updates and priorities, proactively looking for opportunities to add value beyond traditional People Partnering and support broader business initiatives.
  • Coach leaders to sharpen their people decisions and strengthen manager practice.
  • Escalate systemic and strategic talent risks, proposing practical solutions and influencing cross-functional action where needed.
  • Work with the wider People team to keep processes and experiences consistent and scalable across the business.
  • Build and share expertise staying ahead of market best practice, growing your own knowledge, and confidently passing learnings on to others across the business.
  • Bring energy and a solution-driven mindset, offering fresh thinking and confidently representing the People function at every level of the business.
  • Champion our values and culture, acting as a role model and supporting their continual embedding across the business.
  • Any other ad hoc related duties & projects as required.

We'd love to talk to you if:

  • You bring strong business acumen and commercial awareness of team and business priorities.
  • Workforce and skills thinking, with the confidence to lead role redesign conversations.
  • High-quality advisory judgement, sound judgement and confidentiality.
  • Data literacy, confident use of people data and trends, and comfort with AI-supported analysis.
  • Comfortable challenging managers constructively.
  • Human-centred change leadership and strong change support skills.

What we’ll offer you:
