We’re looking for a highly creative and technically skilledSenior Editor / Camera Operatorto join our video production team.
This is a key creative role for someone who can confidently lead on both filming and post-production, producing polished, visually engaging and original video content for a wide range of client projects.
You’ll be trusted to take ownership of shoots and edits, deliver client-ready work with minimal additional input, and help support the development of more junior members of the team.
The Role
As Senior Editor / Camera Operator, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, distinctive video content across promotional films, social media campaigns, interviews, testimonials and event coverage.
You’ll bring strong storytelling instincts, advanced post-production skills and confident technical knowledge across camera, lighting and sound. You’ll also help raise creative standards across the team by sharing feedback, suggesting new approaches and contributing to the overall quality of our output.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film and edit high-quality video content for a range of client projects.
- Produce visually original and cinematic footage that enhances the story, tone and impact of each piece.
- Deliver polished, client-ready edits that align with briefs, brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Operate and maintain camera, lighting and audio equipment to a high professional standard.
- Lead confidently on location and studio setups, with strong attention to lighting, composition and camera movement.
- Safely back up and manage footage in line with internal storage and archiving processes.
- Edit and assemble footage using strong judgement around pacing, sound design, colour, motion graphics and narrative flow.
- Maintain organised post-production workflows, including project versioning, structured file management and archiving.
- Review the work of more junior team members, providing constructive feedback and practical support.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, marketers, freelancers and clients to shape creative direction and delivery.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technology and production techniques.
- Proactively suggest new tools, approaches and efficiencies that could improve the quality of our work.
- Take ownership of your own skills development through training, experimentation and R&D where appropriate.
- Uphold high standards in storytelling, creativity and professionalism.
About You
You’ll have around3-5 years’ experiencein video production, editing or a similar creative role, with a strong portfolio of work across both shooting and editing.
You should be confident taking a project from brief through to final delivery, with the ability to make strong creative decisions, solve problems independently and produce work that needs minimal quality control before going to clients.
Skills And Experience
- Strong professional experience filming and editing video content.
- Advanced knowledge of camera, lighting and audio techniques.
- Excellent editing skills, ideally in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good understanding of colour grading, sound design, motion graphics and post-production workflows.
- Strong storytelling instincts and a confident creative eye.
- Ability to deliver polished, client-ready edits with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organisation and file management habits.
- Experience supporting, mentoring or giving feedback to junior creatives.
- Confidence working with clients, freelancers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards learning, experimentation and improving creative processes.
- You may also be asked to take on other duties as reasonably required to support the success of our creative output and project delivery.
