Create are currently working with various brands across London, specialising particularly in women’s ready to wear, who are looking for experienced sample cutters to join and support their growing/busy teams.

The ideal candidate:

  • Work closely with the machinists, pattern cutters and workroom manager.
  • Ensuring high cutting standards are met, with accuracy and at a good pace.
  • Experience working with an array of fabrics is essential, including fluids and heavier fabrics.
  • You may also be expected to work with various prints, it is important that you are a competent cutter with print and can print match when necessary.
  • Measure and lay out fabric accurately.
  • Cut out both sample and bespoke garments.

With various peak times throughout the year, it may be ongoing or ad hoc freelance work.
