At Create we work with various established brands across London who are looking for hand finishers and machinists. These designers produce high quality garments which can vary from loungewear to full gowns to tailoring. Our clients are looking for experienced and knowledgeable machinists to support their studio teams on a freelance basis. This is a great opportunity for experienced Sample Machinists to work with some of the city's leading brands.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a luxury environment, creating samples, VIP garments and show collection pieces:
- Work closely with the Pattern Cutters and Workroom Manager; ensure all finished garments are completed to the highest quality and within the time expectations.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years of working as a machinist within the luxury industry.
- Strong machine and hand stitching skills, with an eye for detail and perfection.
- Flexibility of working overtime during busy and demanding periods.
