Are you a talented Garment Technologist with a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail? We're working with a range of high street retailers, suppliers, and designers across London, and are looking for an experienced professional to join their teams. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting fashion collections, ensuring high standards of garment quality, fit, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers and studio teams to develop garments from concept to production, ensuring specifications are met.
  • Create and maintain tech packs, including garment construction, fabric choices, trims, and sizing.
  • Lead fit sessions, providing feedback on fit, quality, and construction, while aligning with brand standards.
  • Ensure product quality by working with manufacturers, conducting sample reviews, and garment inspections.
  • Liaise with suppliers, both locally and internationally, to manage relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Problem solve any production issues, including fabric or construction concerns, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international garment standards for fabric, safety, and labeling.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: At least 3 years as a garment technologist in the fashion industry, with experience working with suppliers, retailers, or fashion brands.
  • Strong technical skills in garment construction, fabrics, and grading, with the ability to translate design sketches into production-ready garments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in creating technical specs and conducting fit sessions.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, buyers, and manufacturers.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
