Contract: Temp to Perm, Full Time (Until the end of the academic year with the potential to be extended for the right candidates)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £22,254.36 to £24,097.97

The Role

  • Support students’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and personal development
  • Provide trauma informed support and targeted SEMH interventions
  • Build strong and positive relationships with students
  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing data
  • Work closely with families, safeguarding teams and external agencies
  • Promote safeguarding and ensure student welfare is prioritised at all times
  • Encourage positive engagement with education and school life

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience working with children or young people
  • Has knowledge or experience of SEMH and trauma informed practice
  • Is calm, patient and resilient under pressure
  • Has strong communication and relationship building skills
