We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Provision Teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in the Newham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.
Our specialist provision supports pupils with a range of special educational needs within a structured, nurturing environment where consistency, relationships and high-quality teaching are central to everyday practice.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching within a specialist provision
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of learning, social and emotional needs
- Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development
- Create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver effective provision
- Contribute to individual education plans and EHCP outcomes
- Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform next steps
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
Who We’re Looking For
- PGCE and QTS (essential – non-negotiable)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN or within a specialist provision is highly desirable
- Primary-trained teachers are very welcome to apply
- A patient, resilient and reflective approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
