We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support home-educated students with their examinations across Rainham and South Ockendon. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1 invigilation support in a home setting, helping to create a calm, consistent, and supportive exam environment.
- Role Overview
- Conduct home-based exam invigilation for students on various dates and times
- Travel to a central collection point to collect exam papers, then proceed to the student’s home
- Ensure exams are carried out in line with correct regulations
- Provide a calm and professional presence during exams
- Maintain accurate records and securely return completed exam papers
- Candidates must be available on a flexible basis (various dates/times)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
- Travel will be required between locations in Rainham and South Ockendon
- There are three students in total (one in Rainham, two in South Ockendon)
- Continuity is key – ideally, the same invigilator will work consistently with each student to support their wellbeing
- Previous experience as an exam invigilator (preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of exam procedures and confidentiality
- Calm, patient, and professional manner
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Comfortable working independently in a home environment
- Flexible working to fit around your schedule
