SEN Teacher – ASD and Complex Needs – South Woodham Ferrers
Are you a Qualified Teacher with experience in SEN or SEMH Teaching? Is your experience within Mainstream Education and now you’re looking for a new challenge? Create Education are currently looking for qualified, experienced and passionate SEN Teachers to work with ASD, SEMH and different neurodivergent complex needs in a specialist SEN school in South Woodham Ferrers. The school has outstanding provisions and facilities to cater for the students' needs and was rated Outstanding in their latest OFSTED inspection.
The role will start on a short-term contract through agency, but after a term will go permanent with the school if everything goes well and the school are happy with the performance of the SEN Teacher (Primary).
Job Description:
- SEN Teacher (Secondary) for Secondary SEMH Students
- Up to M6 Pay scale
- Working with a variety of needs that include ASD, SEMH and Complex Needs
- Responsible for planning and delivering lessons to SEN students
- Based in South Woodham Ferrers
Person Specification:
- At least 1 year’s experience teaching in a school, SEN or mainstream
- UK QTS is not essential but is preferred
- A firm understanding of SEN and prior experience is preferable
