The Job

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Drama Teacher to join this vibrant team. In this role, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities, aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire a love for theatre, performance, and dramatic expression.
  • Support students’ development through differentiated instruction, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a cohesive and innovative Performing Arts department.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions, drama clubs, or theatre workshops.

Are You…..

  • Qualified: Hold a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) and a degree in Drama or a related field.
  • Experienced: Ideally, have 2+ years of experience teaching Drama, though we are open to ECTs with a strong passion for teaching.
  • Skilled: Demonstrate excellent communication, classroom management, and lesson planning abilities.
  • Personable: Resilient, adaptable, and a team player who can build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience teaching Drama at GCSE or A-Level.
