Our consultants are geographically based and recruit across the full education market within their area, including teachers, teaching assistants, SEN professionals, support staff, pastoral staff and school leaders. What is the role? Let’s be completely honest: This is a sales career. As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the full 360-degree recruitment process. You will build relationships with schools, win new business, recruit excellent candidates and manage placements from beginning to end. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cold calling and business development
- Building relationships with school leaders and hiring managers
- Weekly School Visits and face to face BD – Driving advantageous
- Recruiting teachers, support staff and specialist education professionals
- Advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates
- Conducting telephone, virtual and face-to-face interviews
- Presenting suitable candidates to schools
- Managing temporary bookings and permanent placements
- Working closely with our specialist compliance team
- Achieving weekly activity, placement and revenue targets
- Helping develop a successful geographical area
You will be supported, but you will also be accountable. We will provide the training, guidance, systems and opportunities. You will need to bring the drive.
Who are we looking for? Previous recruitment experience, particularly within education or temporary staffing, would be highly desirable. We would also consider someone from a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment who has the personality and resilience to build a successful recruitment career.

Salary and earning potential: You will receive a basic salary of: £30,000–£40,000+, depending on experience. You will also benefit from:

We want ambitious people to earn well. There is no benefit to us in limiting your success.
Working hours: During term time: 7:30am–4:30pm. During school holidays: 9:00am–3:30pm. You will work on a hybrid basis: Three days per week in our New London office, one day from home and one day out and about visiting your clients.
