We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners (Level 3 qualified) to join a warm, vibrant, and well-established nursery in Southwark. Our nursery provides a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children from the age of 2 years old. Our ethos is centred around fostering a love for learning and ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and confident. We believe the foundation of lifelong learning is built in the Early Years, and by offering a caring, home-from-home environment, we help children explore their world, develop essential social and cognitive skills, and build strong self-esteem. The nursery is attached to a lovely pre-prep school, offering a strong sense of community and continuity, as well as smooth transitions into the next stage of education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support children’s emotional well-being, independence, and development
- Observe, assess, and track children’s progress
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with families
- Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding standards
- Contribute to planning, reflection, and continuous improvement within the setting
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Are passionate about Early Years education and child development
- Are reliable, nurturing, and enthusiastic
- Are keen to develop professionally and grow long-term within one setting
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues

- Competitive starting salary (£27,300 for Level 3 and above, depending on experience)
