Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a new opportunity this November? We are pleased to be working with a GOOD-rated primary school located in the St Peter’s Eaton Square area of Westminster. The school is seeking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to start in January. The school caters for pupils from EYFS to KS2 and is committed to fostering an environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their best.
As a KS1 Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting the academic and personal development of young learners. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Use effective teaching strategies to support progress across a range of subjects
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Manage pupil behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Provide tailored support to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess pupil progress through regular assessments and assignments
- Maintain regular communication with parents/carers regarding progress
- Work collaboratively with staff to enrich the school’s educational provision
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- QTS, ECT, or PGCE qualification
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience working with KS1 or primary-aged pupils preferred
- Strong understanding of early years and primary learning principles
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to create a supportive and well-managed classroom
