About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will plan purposeful lessons, assess progress effectively, and support students of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes. You will be joining a dedicated department that works collaboratively, shares resources, and is focused on continual improvement. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT, you will be supported to develop and progress.

Who This Role Is For

This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about Computer Science and enjoys inspiring young people to think logically, creatively, and independently. You will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
  • Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • Be keen to teach KS5 or develop into it
  • Be able to motivate, challenge, and inspire students
  • Have strong classroom presence and communication skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing

The ability to teach a second subject would be a welcome bonus but is not essential.
