We are seeking a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join our team at a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEMH students.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress in line with school policies.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students to support engagement and learning.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience working in an SEMH school or with students with significant SEMH needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
