We are hiring an exceptional Video Editor to join our team behind top podcasts: The Diary of a CEO (10M+), Lewis Howes (4M+), Ali Abdaal (5M+). The position is freelance, but we will look to add you full-time if you fit the bill.
You will be editing both long-form podcast episodes and short-form video content across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This is a storytelling role. We are looking for someone who knows how to craft a narrative from raw multicam footage and create short-form edits that actually hold attention.
Here’s the kind of content you will be working on:
- Crisp, cinematic podcast edits.
- Emotional short cutdowns.
- Edits that feel native to each platform.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Editing full-length podcast episodes (multi-cam).
- Syncing audio/video, applying LUTs, mixing in b-roll and branded assets.
- Creating 9:16 short clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborating with creative leads on structure, flow, and feel.
- Using transcripts and creative briefs to speed up the process.
- Exporting and organizing assets cleanly for delivery.
You Should Have:
- Experience with long-form, multicam editing (ideally podcasts).
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention.
- A portfolio that shows both long-form and short-form range.
- Comfort working in Premiere Pro.
- High attention to detail with exports, levels, timing.
- Ability to take direction and run with a creative vision.
Bonus Points:
- Podcast editing experience (audio + video).
- Short-form reels that punch (music, text, SFX, pacing).
- Motion graphics skills.
- Familiarity with YouTubers, podcasters, or creator brands.
