We'd love to tell you more about this unique business - an end to end producer of premium / luxury natural woollen fibres (from farm to customer) for slow interiors and apparel, a UK manufacturer with global reach and responsible sourcing at the heart of everything they do.
Seeking an experienced Sales Support / In House Account Executive (ideally with a background in fashion, textiles or similar categories) to support the Commercial / Sales Directors in giving the best customer experience, from managing the order, sampling and merchandising processes (take part in customer meetings, raising the CP, progress chasing, keeping buyers updated etc).
An effective verbal communicator, you will be highly organised, analytically minded, passionate about sustainability and consciously sourced product. This role has a dual focus: managing the complex order-fulfilment process to support the sales team while collaborating with production and suppliers to ensure timely customer deliveries.
Their product range includes finished fibres, component layers, and bespoke fully-assembled items, catering to premium design brands in apparel, interiors, and the bedding market.
As a proactive and strategic thinker, you will play a vital role in exceeding customer expectations through direct verbal communication, relationship building, and coordination. Your ability to influence stakeholders and respect the integrity of their specialist networks is crucial.
This hands-on role requires a highly organised individual with strong IT skills (advanced working knowledge of MS Excel), attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities range from hands on account servicing, such as sample management, to managing complex critical paths, work flow and shipping / logistics, working with freight specialists, negotiating best rates and preparing correct documentation.
You will master internal IT systems, understand customer schedules, source packaging, and oversee final assembly operations. You'll also work closely with their finance team, taking responsibility for invoicing; likewise, you will work in partnership with their in-house production team, ensuring orders are fulfilled and despatched within the right timescales, fulfilling customer expectation.
You will own each order from placement through to delivery and payment. Experience and knowledge of the wool industry would be highly beneficial. This is a varied career opportunity with a dynamic business that is driven to deliver positive impact on people, animals and the planet.
